Few communities provide as many high quality park and recreational opportunities as Parker.  It is essential that Parker continue to offer its residents the highest quality of parks and recreational facilities possible while growing to meet future population demands. I am a "huge fan" of our recreational amenities and support their positive impact on our community and the lives our children.

Parker is consistently voted one of the best places to live in America.  It is no wonder that new residents are moving to Parker to experience the style of life we currently enjoy.  Responsible growth is key to Parker's future and maintaining our lifestyle.  Planning for the impact of future growth and building a responsible mix of businesses and residents will assure the quality of life Parker currently offers its residents.

• SMALL BUSINESS
  Parker is a growing community with a strong local business environment.  The majority of businesses in Parker are small businesses.  They are the back-bone of the economic environment of Parker, providing both local jobs and tax dollars.  Providing a business friendly environment is crucial for the continued and future economic success of Parker.  I am an opponent of over-regulation of small business and support a private/public partnership that maintains open communication.

  A focus on the creation and expansion of a strong daytime economy in Parker is of paramount importance.  The economic base of a strong daytime economy will assure the lifestyle we enjoy in Parker.  I will work hard to bring a strong daytime economy to Parker.
  
• OLD TOWN PARKER
  A strong, vibrant and cohesive Old Town Parker is essential to our economic success.  By having a strong business and cultural base in the heart of Old Town, Parker will not only have a rich and enjoyable destination for residents but will also attract visitors who will enjoy the shops, restaurants, businesses and cultural facilities of Old Town Parker.  I believe this addition to the Parker tax base is crucial to our continued lifestyle success.  I support the growth of Old Town Parker and the creation of a central pedestrian, shopping and cultural district.

TAXES
Our taxes are the financial conduit that provides for the "behind the scenes" structure of our lifestyle.  However, tax efficiency should be the priority rather than tax quantity.  It is crucial that Parker spend its taxes efficiently and effectively.  I will fight to keep our taxes under control and make sure our town government is spending our taxes efficiently.

SAFETY
One of the principle functions of government is to provide common safety.  Parker has one the best Police departments in Colorado and is part of arguably the finest Fire Protection District.  Maintaining the quality of Police and Fire Protection is crucial to Parker and its residents.  I will stand with our brothers and sisters in public safety and make sure they have the tools necessary to safely do their jobs.
